HCSO arrests Casey Floyd Felt in connection with alleged shooting of a Miranda woman

On Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at approximately 7:06 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, with the assistance of the Humboldt County SWAT team, served a search warrant at a residence in the 1200 block of Felt Rd. in Miranda.  



While serving the search warrant, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Investigators detained two subjects.  One of the subjects, 36 year old Casey Floyd Felt, was subsequently arrested in connection with the shooting of a 24 year old female victim near Miranda on Thursday, January 19, 2017.  Felt was arrested without incident and taken to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked for domestic violence, assault with a firearm, shooting at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle, being a felon in possession of a firearm and an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license.  His bail has been set at $110,000.
