League of Women Voters endorses Measure V

One of the most respected voter education organizations in Humboldt County is endorsing a “Yes” vote on Measure V.

"The League of Women Voters Humboldt County recommends a YES vote on Measure V to provide affordable housing for all income groups," said Celeste Ruiz, LWVHC Acting President.

The League joins many other Humboldt organizations that have endorsed Yes on V, including advocates for seniors, for affordable housing, and for working families.  Yes on V volunteer Carrie Peyton-Dahlberg thanked the League and other endorsers for their vision and their support.
“Measure V allows fair rent increases on mobile home park spaces, while protecting seniors and others on limited incomes from repeated, skyrocketing space fees and other charges,” Peyton-Dahlberg said. She encouraged voters to visit YesonVHumboldt.org to learn more about Measure V, and to share the Yes on V message with their friends on social media.

  1. Your organization is supposed to remain NEUTRAL! This is uncalled for and truly unprofessional.

  2. Agree, camelg1. This is really unbelievable. Must be a rogue member, overstepping.

  3. Today's Times sub-standard has the same support statement. This is more than a rogue singular movement. The Democratic (another surname-Communist)purpose of this organization is NEUTRALITY always. Broken promises!
