Out of 5 people arrested in POP bust, one walked up to EPD admitting he was looking fir drugs

On September 6, 2016, at about 9:30 a.m., Eureka Police officers and Problem Oriented Policing (POP) detectives served a search warrant at a residence on the 1600 block of 4th Street in response to an ongoing investigation into drug activity.






During the search, detectives located methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and cash related to drug sales.  Three people from inside the residence were arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility (HCCF).    

§ Brian Adams, 33 of Eureka. Possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of tear gas.
§ Tierra Milligan, 33 of Eureka.  Maintaining a drug house and possession of methamphetamine.
§ Lora Milligan, 52 of Eureka.  Maintaining a drug house, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

While detectives were searching the residence, Jordan Cardoza, 21 of Eureka, walked in and said he was looking for someone.  Cardoza was arrested on outstanding warrants for possession of stolen property and possession of methamphetamine, and a fresh charge of possession of hash oil.

While wrapping up the search, Christopher Nichols, 31 of Eureka, approached detectives and admitted to looking for drugs.  Nichols was arrested for public intoxication.
