Bail set at $75,000 for John Thomas Burbridge arrested by APD for alleged possession of loaded firearm in public, weapons and ammo

John Burbridge was arraigned yesterday in Courtroom 1. He was arraigned on four counts. His bail was set at $75,000.

His court appointed attorney, Conflict Counsel's Mr. David Lee, tried to get him released on OR because he is a HSU student, no prior local criminal history except "a potential out of state 7 years ago."

Deputy District Attorney Brent Kling acknowledged defense's comments about criminal history but cited public safety concerns in opposing OR. Judge Feeney agreed, OR was denied.

Time was not waived.

Intervention is on September 14 at 3 p.m. and Preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 21.
