Zero Waste Humboldt is seeking community input for the City of Arcata’s Zero Waste Action Plan. Now is the time to share what works well and what are obstacles to waste reduction in arcata at your home, school, or workplace. If you have practical solutions or innovative approaches to reducing waste in Arcata, please take a moment to share your ideas.
The Zero Waste Action Plan will include programs and services for waste prefention, material reuse, recycling and composting to guide the Cit in achieving benchmarks over time to achieve its Zero Waste goal. Public education to increase personal responsibility to reduce waste will be a priority. Your input is appreciated, thank you for taking the time to contribute toward a wastefree future!
