Ship Ahoy at the Humboldt Bay Tourism Center this Friday

Old Town Eureka’s second parklet will officially open to the the public at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday March 4th at 3:00 p.m. Designed and built by local wood artisan, Joey Kovali, from Branch Ranch Building Company.  The parklet has a unique boat shape which embraces the character and history of Victorian Old Town Eureka and its seaport.

The cornerstone of Humboldt Bay Tourism Center is TASTE, our all-local tasting room located at the corner of 2nd and G Streets in Old Town Eureka. We pour local beers, wines, ciders, and kombucha- by the glass, the bottle or a tasting flight. Our trained staff recommend and serve oysters, cheeses, meats, breads, and desserts that are all hand-crafted locally. The parklet will provide guests an opportunity to enjoy all that TASTE has to offer in an unique and inviting outdoor setting.

Humboldt Bay Tourism Center was founded in 2013 as an innovative approach to visitor services in Humboldt County. Our goal is to connect tourists and locals with the very best our region has to offer. The Center offers a curated selection of area tours and adventures - from river rafting to horse-drawn carriage rides to oyster farm tours. Visit TASTE at Humboldt Bay Tourism Center to get in-depth information about local lodging, dining, and activity options.  They are open 7 days per week from Noon through 9pm.
