Another domestic violence arrest where victim allegedly grabbed in head lock and punched repeatedly

On 03-01-2016 at approximately 12:08 PM, Deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to investigate a reported incident of domestic violence that occurred around 10:00 PM the night before in Covelo, California.

Deputies learned an adult female and her husband, Sergio Nunez-Davila, were at their home in the 76000 block of Short Creek Road when they began to argue.

The argument grew more heated until Nunez-Davila reportedly grabbed the adult female in a head-lock with his left arm.  Nunez-Davila punched the adult female several times in the head and face with his right fist.  The adult female was able to pull away from Nunez-Davila and the attack stopped but not before she suffered a bruising injury to her face.

Deputies responded to the couple’s Short Creek Road residence and arrested Nunez-Davila for domestic violence battery.

Nunez-Davila was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
