At the October 27 Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting, two of my favorite people, friends and local women leaders will be recognized as a part of the consent calendar.
Fortuna Kiwanis 2015 Business Leader/Woman of Distinction and Family of the Year Certificates (Supervisor Estelle Fennell).
Estelle was recently honored on October 21 as the Woman of Distinction by Fortuna Kiwanis at their annual luncheon at the River Lodge.
An Appreciation letter will be given to Annette DeModena for her service on the Citizen's Law Enforcement Liaison Committee. (Supervisor Rex Bohn). Annette is resigning from this commitee.
Annette is the current President of both the local Republican party and Humboldt Republican Women.
Glad to hear that Estelle is being honored, she is a remarkable person.
