Orleans suspect just arrested has prior conviction and bail forfeitures and a pending DUI

Roberta Garrison has a DUI from late 2014 that she will  be arraigned on 5/13 in Courtroom 5. A conviction and guilty plea from property offense in 2010 and three traffic related offenses with bail forfeitures.

On 05-11-2015 at about 10:28 a.m. the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a female suspect, who appeared to be selling narcotics out of her blue car, which was parked in front of the Orleans Market in Orleans. When the deputy arrived on scene, he contacted the female suspect, who he identified as 31 year old, Roberta Sue Garrison from Somes Bar, California. The California Highway Patrol also arrived on scene to assist the Sheriff’s Office.

When the deputy was speaking to Garrison by her vehicle, he could smell the odor of marijuana emitting around the vehicle. The deputy then detained Garrison in handcuffs and placed her into the rear seat of his patrol vehicle.

The deputy then searched the vehicle and located the following narcotics inside of the vehicle: Approximately 3 ΔΎ pounds of marijuana, small amount of heroin, small amount of methamphetamine. The deputy found the following medication in the vehicle: Hydrocodone, Morphine, Hydromorphone, Seroquel, Laxapro, Wellbutrin, and Alprazolam. Garrison did not have any prescription for the medication.

Garrison was then place under arrest for the following charges: possession of a controlled substance, possession for sales of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana for sales, possession of heroin and methamphetamine. Garrison was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility in Eureka where she was booked on the above charges. Garrison bail was set at $50,000 dollars.
