People offer proposal of 6 years plea in Stiglich case, we wont know until next week if accepted

Today, a disposition and reset hearing was scheduled in Courtroom Two for Judson Stiglich, the Cutten man accused of shooting Ryan Robinson. The links give all the background on the case. It has been at least three hearings where an offer has been made but not accepted yet by Stiglich.

People made a firm offer, defense asjed for another week continuance so Mr. Russ Clanton could discuss the offer with Stiglich. Mr. Clanton's associate, Mr. David Celli was in court this afternoon.

Robinson family was so noisy and distracting that I heard parts of the offer. I will confirm later with DDA Stacey Eads and update details. Judge Miles at one point, had to ask one of the Robinson family members to take one of the children out so the court reporter could hear what was being said.

Jennifer Robinson was talking to Stiglich's family outside the courtroom when members if Robinson's family created a scene and yelled threats of physical harm towards Stiglich family.

Jennifer Robinson used to date Stiglich.

Both families and friends of the victim and defendant have attended the court hearings. The case is being prosecuted by DDA Stacey Eads. Stiglich is represented by the law firm of Russ Clanton.

  1. I just wanted to add a few facts into this. The baby that was crying in the courtroom was the son of Ryan Robinson. This will sadly not be the last tears he will shed for his dad that got taken from this world unfairly and too soon. He will have to grow up without his dad and know that the man that shot his dad had only gotten charged with drug offenses. Also, the back of the courtroom was not only the Robinson family. There were people waiting for their turn in court as well as the stiglich family. Yes there was some noise from the Robinson family when the plea offer was announced. Which is to be expected from the shock that it gave them. So let's not be so harsh!!

    1. Facts are not Robinson family's forte. Nor are rules or respecting others. Your family is not the only one that has suffered loss. Other families conduct themselves properly in court, despite grief. The behavior of some of your family members needs to be noted and they need to take responsibility. Your family members have haraased me before court. Despite telling them to leave me alone, I get two, three phone calls after each post. Members of your family threatened and glared at the Stiglich family more than once. The Times Standard witnessed today's drama. I have recorded your family phone calls and I will be forwarding them to the DA.

I think the public deserves to see what kind of hot heads some of your family members are. Jennifer was talking of her own free will to the family of the man she used to date. You yelled at her in public and threatened the Stiglich family.

Instead of telling me how to my job, control your family members. If I get any more harassing calls or you try and intimidate me again, you will find yourselves faced with legal action.

  2. The plea deal was discussed with the family. This was stated on record. So the family didn't find out in court.
