This morning at 8:30 in a closed courtroom but "informal" meeting, Judge Timothy Cissna met with DDA Roger Rees and Juan Ferrer's attorney Marek Reavis to see if they could resolve the Juan Ferrer case.
The meeting is still going on, I will update later. Ferrer is charged with stabbing Arcata chef Douglas Anderson-Jordet.
Judge Cissna told attorneys they are not allowed to discuss anything from the meeting so we will have to wait until next court date to see if there was any development.
